Note: Because the fabric is double-sided silicone coated, it is impossible to use machine seam sealing for this kind of fabric, because the fabric is too slippery and the machine cannot fix the fabric. So it can only be glued. But TFSTENTS expansion uses UK Coats sewing thread, which will expand when water seeps in, thus achieving waterproof effect.

Unless there is a heavy rainstorm that lasts for a long time, there may be a little leakage.

If you want to upgrade tent pole, you choose the more durable 9.6mm Dac NSL pole.

Enran DAC Pole

All materials of this tent are top-notch, including Coats expansion cord, Korean ultra-light and ultra-strong tear-resistant outer fabric, breathable and condensation-proof Monofila, ultra-light DAC NFL poles and stakes, Japanese YKK zippers, and American nylon ropes. If you like the ultimate top-notch configuration, this is it. The whole tent is ultra-light and ultra-strong.

This is a comparison of two fabrics after enlarging. On the left is the fabric specification 15 or 20D 210T used by most tent brands, and on the right is the comparison of TFS using 7D 580T outer fabric imported from South Korea. If a brand's description only writes XXX D, but not XXX T, it is basically 210T. A professional tent brand will clearly write the specific parameters of the fabric. The 7D 580T fabric imported from South Korea is still excellent after enlarging and comparing.

D is the abbreviation of Denier, which can be simply understood as the unit of fiber thickness. The smaller the number, the finer the fiber; T (TEX) refers to the total number of warp and weft yarns in one square centimeter, which can be simply understood as the density of the fabric. The larger the T value, the stronger the tear resistance. The purchase price of 7D and 10D imported fabrics is 5-6 times that of the former.

The mainstream outdoor tent fabric production countries are now the United States, China, South Korea and Japan. The United States is famous for inventing more innovative fabrics. South Korea and Japan are famous for producing high-quality fabrics. TFS blue and red label series inner and outer are made of imported high-quality fabrics.

90% of a tent is made up of fabrics. Many people ignore this most important part. Good fabrics can make the tent last longer (so hilleberg tents can still perform well after 10 years of use, while some very cheap tents often have sticky fabrics after 2 years, which is also related to the coating), and better protect your safety outdoors (if an accident happens and a sharp object tears a hole, the damaged area of high-value T fabrics will be smaller than that of low-value fabrics. For example, when an area is torn and you have no way to repair it and can only use it, high-value T fabrics will not spread the wound, but low-value fabrics will often expand it).

Each tent order comes with a fabric sample for you to test. You bought a 7D tent (no 10D polyester sample) / you bought a 10D tent (no 7D nylon sample)

Chinese local fabric companies now also produce 7D and 10D fabrics, and the price is much cheaper than importing from South Korea, but after testing the fabric machine, South Korean fabrics are better. Hilleberg, terranove, FJALLRAVEN, Nordisk, some Nordic brands use Korean fabrics in some styles, while MSR and other North American brands should use Chinese fabrics in some styles (this is not to say that Chinese fabrics are bad, the 15D/20D nylon process is already excellent, but 7D/10D Korean fabrics are better)

So Wang would rather pay more to import from South Korea. He has worked for the Korean company Banpo for many years, and he has used all outdoor fabrics when he was a design manager. He also produces Enran DCF0.55oz and has tested it with 7D and 10D. The weight of DCf 0.55oz is very close to that of 7D and 10D fabrics, but DCF can only be produced by American companies and operated by distributors, so the price has always been very expensive. Wang purchases directly from fabric factories. (However, there is a disadvantage of DCF that few people mention, which is that it has obvious wrinkles after being used many times. There is only one video on YouTube that dares to tell the truth)

In order to alleviate the condensation inside the 4season tent, the enran series ceiling and side windows use Monofila (high-density breathable mesh), which has both the breathability of ordinary mesh and a certain waterproof performance (ordinary mesh, low density cannot do this). The formation of condensation is that the temperature inside the tent is higher than the outside, and the fog gradually forms water droplets outside the tent.

In addition, YKK is also divided by origin. Everyone knows that YKK is the best zipper brand. It is a Japanese company with production subsidiaries in various countries around the world. Since China is the world's largest tent producer, many well-known outdoor brand tents are produced in China, so they all use YKK zippers produced in China, but Japanese zippers are better in terms of smoothness and service life.

For example, for No. 5 zippers, different origins still have different quality grades. I think the best mold machines will be supplied to Japanese local companies first, and Japan is also one of the countries with the best precision in producing machine tools and other machines. TFS still purchases zippers imported from Japan instead of zippers made in China.

The sewing thread is the expansion thread from Coats UK and Arman Germany, which is of the best quality in the world. I visited the TFS warehouse and they have a lot of sewing thread in stock for different grades of purpose.

The purpose of my writing is to tell you that a good tent brand is willing to show you their factory and details. If their official website and public information do not show any of this information, their tents are basically OEM. Clean product
Size: 3 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I only gave it 4 stars because of the smell. Of course it’s sunscreen so it’s going to have a chemical smell but this smell is just too strong for me. Other then that, it’s a great sunscreen. Does take some more rubbing in and be carful to rub it in really good or you’ll have white streaks all over your face. Leaves a bit of a white cast. You don’t need much.

Great quality

Thinksport SPF 50+ Mineral Sunscreen with Zinc is a reliable, high‑protection option that feels lightweight and non‑greasy on the skin. It applies smoothly without leaving too much white cast for everyday use, and I love that it’s mineral‑based with zinc for strong UVA/UVB defense. Great for active days outdoors. Highly recommend for sensitive skin and safe sun coverage!

Brown skin approved!
Size: 6 Ounce (Pack of 1), Size: 6 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Does not leave a white cast, feels very light on the skin. Scanned on Yuka and was a 86/100 green zone! It’s so hard to find a sunscreen that isn’t trying to poison you, scanned all the sunscreen at Walmart and were rated a 1/100 through 6/100. Which brought me to Amazon. Thinksport has my vote on goodness and healthiness, would buy again!

My favorite... And I'm picky.
Size: 3 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I've become a little obsessed with sunscreen over the last past 5 years. I have olive skin and developed melasma after my first pregnancy. I learned the hard way that chemical sunscreens don't help if you have melasma - and they actually make the dark spots even worse. Also the active ingredients in chemical sunscreens (like Oxybenzone and Octinoxate) are absorbed by your skin, and may cause allergies, hormonal imbalance and be toxic overtime. After learning that, I started wearing only mineral sunscreen (active ingredient is zinc and/or titanium dioxide). These are not absorbed and works by creating a physical barrier that reflects the sun (some studies suggest that some nanoparticles of zinc may be absorbed by your skin, so to be really, really safe you should look for non-nano particles). After trying a few brands, I realized the sunscreens with only zinc in their formulas worked better than the blends with titanium dioxide, but this is just my personal preference I guess. And the higher the percentage of zinc, the better. Most pure mineral sunscreens out there are 10-ish % zinc, SPF 30, 40 min water resistant - which is ok. Thinksport goes beyond that: It's 20% non-nano zinc, SPF 50+, 80 min water resistant. It really can't get any better than that! The lotion is not extremely thick when compared to other sunscreens I've tried and I find it pretty easy to apply. As every zinc sunscreen, it does leave a little fine white cast, but honestly Thinksport is not bad at all! It smells nice, lightly citrusy - and the smell vanishes soon. And, it's not overpriced. Best I've tried so far.

Works but will Dry Out Your Skin
Size: 6 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I am a swim instructor at an outdoor pool and this stuff DOES work. I can apply it at the beginning of a 5 hour shift and while I have experienced light tanning it has protected against burning completely without reapplication. The white cast is significant though I don't mind it aesthetically, I know its there for protection . It does rub off on things though so consider yourself warned. Major Con: it is incredibly drying, and the soap needed to scrub it off is A LOT. That coupled with chlorine is a lot for my skin . Still on my sunscreen journey.
